It’s time for new homeowners to file for their Homestead Exemption!


In order to qualify for a residential homestead exemption you must provide the following to the Central Appraisal District when submitting your application:

The address on your drivers license or state ID card MUST match the physical address of the residence for which you are applying.

The address on your vehicle registration MUST also match the physical address of the residence for which you are applying.

All three (Residence, Drivers License/ID Card & 
Vehicle Registration) MUST have the same address.
